Labeling AI-Modified Content on wiCollect
As generative AI tools become widely accessible, wiCollect must identify when exclusive content may have been created or modified using these tools before posting and selling it as authentic digital collectibles on the wiCollect App.
Please note: AI-modified content labeling and identification may differ for ads through the wiCollect App.
Why should you label your AI-generated content on wiCollect?
Label AI-generated or modified content on the wiCollect App to promote transparency and trust. The app enforces mandatory labeling. Visit our Support Center for details. Content may be automatically labeled by wiCollect with AI signals. Alternatively, creators should proactively label their AI-generated or modified content when uploading and sharing it on the wiCollect App.
How does wiCollect detect AI-generated content?
AI tools now enable creators to produce or alter original content that closely resembles authentic work. As a result, content created or modified with these tools may display an industry-standard signal indicating AI use. Create a video or image collage with a common editing tool, including the AI signal, to share and sell to viewers. Video or photo editing tools using AI to change a video or image’s size and color may have a signal indicating AI-assisted modifications. wiCollect’s systems analyze these signals to determine if content needs a label.
When should content be labeled?
Content creators who accept industry-standard AI modification signals will not get an AI info label on their posts, stories, reels, or threads. Information about AI used to create or modify content is available in the wiCollect App’s Support Center or a dedicated section for any posts, stories, reels, or threads, regardless of the wiCollect signal. This approach will adapt as consumers’ expectations and technology progress. Currently, not all AI-generated content includes information about its AI-generated or modified creation due to the rapid advancement of AI technology.
When wiCollect’s AI or other AI tools are used: Content created or modified with wiCollect’s AI tools can be shared on the wiCollect App as a post to sell or a “Close Up” story to promote content. This content may be automatically labeled or displayed with a watermark indicating AI editing.
When AI-Generated Content is Modified: Content created or modified using AI tools, including third-party AI tools, wiCollect’s AI tools, or content uploaded to the wiCollect App for sale, will be labeled with “AI info” to indicate its origin.
When is the mandatory or required AI information labeled?
wiCollect requires content creators to label content they share and sell, including content with photorealistic video or realistic audio digitally generated or altered, such as using AI tools. Label your exclusive digital collectibles created or modified with AI tools before selling them on the wiCollect App. wiCollect does require labeling AI-created or altered images, and it will label them if detected by wiCollect systems.
Please note: Creators may face penalties for not labeling content as required when selling it, and followers or buyers may face penalties for reselling content without prior notice that it was created or modified using AI tools. In some cases, wiCollect may not need to label AI-generated or altered content, so it will be assessed and labeled as AI if necessary.
Here are some examples of AI-modified content that requires a label:
A video of people walking around an outdoor market.
An audio file with multiple people appearing to speak or converse.
A song or movie that uses AI-generated vocals, sounds, musicians, or actors.
A realistic AI-generated voiceover narrated by a realistic person in a reel.
Here are some examples of AI-modified content that does not need a label:
An animated or cartoonish video of an outdoor landscape.
An image of a person riding animals. (wiCollect does not require labeling images).

How do you label content created by AI?
Labeling your AI-generated content will display an AI information label on your post.
Please note: If you do not disclose AI use in shared and sold content, wiCollect may display an AI information label when it detects AI-generated content. Failure to label and sell AI-generated content on the wiCollect App may result in warnings, strikes, and account suspension after three infractions in a year.
